Microtunnelling Project Dialogue: An established favourite
Our annual Microtunnelling Project Dialogue has been a very popular event for 15 years now, but what makes this joint industry event organised by VMT and Jackcontrol so special? It’s probably the perfect blend of activity – much like the cocktails in the evening.
A committed community
When most hotel rooms are fully booked before the official registration period begins, it’s clear that this is a popular event. The Microtunnelling Project Dialogue is a fixed date in the calendars of our long-standing participants. This is probably because the event focuses on open exchange within the industry; aiming to advance microtunnelling together – both above and below ground.
Theory and practice in perfect harmony
Theoretical knowledge about geology, machinery, and data management is indispensable, but it’s not enough to tackle the daily challenges on construction sites. Practical examples demonstrate how theory is applied in reality, providing participants with concrete recommendations and proven methods. The balanced mix of topics and perspectives fosters a comprehensive understanding of our industry’s current and future challenges, whether it concerns digitalisation, project execution, sustainability or quality issues.
The right balance of knowledge and exchange
The name “Project Dialogue” sums up the fruitful exchange between guests and speakers, which is made possible by the diversity of the participants – from lecturers at technical universities, to consultants, planners and contractors, as well as solution providers. The opportunity to meet familiar faces, old friends and the younger generation makes the event particularly enjoyable. For young talents, Project Dialogue offers a unique feature with a ‘Foundation’ session about microtunneling delivered by a team of experts before the official programme even begins.
In addition to presentations and workshops, the informal conversations during breaks or in the evening at the bar also help to strengthen existing connections and make new ones.
Project Dialogue is a welcome break from the daily work routine – it is a custom that significantly contributes to the continuous exchange of best practise in the industry in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
