For the correct selection of the follow-up ring and the correct position during installation, particularly when travelling around curves, a large amount of data must be known and available: e.g. the exact position of the previously installed ring and the position of this ring in relation to the circumferential tailskin.

In order to meet this requirement, the TUnIS ring sequencing program automatically incorporates the experience gained during construction progress into future calculations.

It is also possible to define criteria to influence the calculation result using flexible system settings. In this way, in addition to planned project constraints, events that cannot be planned can also be taken into account during construction progress.
