As a technology leader, we have the experience and expertise to tackle the challenges of modern infrastructure projects around the world. VMT’s innovative systems and product solutions help construction companies to create tunnels and shafts of all sizes for increasingly complex infrastructure projects. For example, our TBM navigation systems ensure smooth tunnelling by providing real-time data on the TBM’s position and orientation. Similarly, our production and logistics management systems for segmental lining manufacture enhance the quality and delivery of concrete segments by optimising the production process and ensuring timely delivery. Our innovative system solutions for safety, information and monitoring are key to the successful completion of complex projects and they also provide data for future developments. Individual modules can be integrated into efficient, modern networked solutions that enable optimal workflow and seamless quality assurance in every tunnel project.

In industrial measurement, we develop concepts and supply equipment for manufacturing processes where precision is of the utmost importance. Our personalities and skills complement each other and we foster team cohesion with activities outside of work whether it is training, exchanging information or simply having fun and socialising.

With roots in Bruchsal, in the heart of the Karlsruhe technology region in south-west Germany, VMT is a local business, with a global reach. And while we work in tunnelling, we certainly don’t have tunnel vision. We embrace our multicultural environment and foster an open and tolerant attitude and mutual understanding.
